Recently, Daventry District Council was awarded 75% funding from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles to support the install of a new chargepoint and Nissan LEAF electric pool vehicle. This funding was awarded to the Council for the purpose of supporting public sector chargepoints and low emission vehicles.

The Council is keen to do more to increase the electric vehicle infrastructure available to local residents. We are now writing a strategy with the aim of installing chargepoints across the district and are seeking people’s views to help find suitable locations.
