The Clerk has transcribed the minutes dating from the first meeting of Hannington Parish Meeting in 1894 to 1979 into “word documents” and these will be uploaded onto the web site in the coming weeks.  Whilst most just deal with the routine elections of the Chairman, Overseers, Constables and Gas Inspectors, there is the occasional glimpse into village life, for example gas street lighting arriving in the village and Walgrave residents dumping their rubbish on the Hannington tip!
