All three of the village flower troughs were stolen sometime between 17 and 18 August.  At the recent Parish Council meeting it was decided to canvas the views of villagers as to whether they should be replaced or not.  They have had a bit of a chequered history since they were first purchased, with plants being removed and difficulty in finding volunteers to water them – in fact we currently have to thank Ms A Greig (a non-resident) who had been maintaining them.  Feedback regarding the replacement of the flower troughs can be left on the contact page of the web-site, e-mail or by contacting any member of the Parish Council or the Clerk.
