NCC is currently on the process of raising a traffic regulation order to have the 30mph signs moved on both Red House Lane and Walgrave Road.  The one on Red House Lane will be moved to the village name plate (near the allotments).  The original intention was to have the one on the Walgrave Road moved to the village nameplate as well; however NCC were unable to achieve the recommended minimum clear visibility to the sign (the distance that a driver sees the sign before the actual start of the limit) due to the bend on the approach. To achieve this, they have had to move some 65m forward and they will also relocate the village nameplate to this position.
